) is urgently seeking to recruit professionals for its customer – a leading engineering company.
About the job:
The QA/QC Engineer supports Site Management in its responsibility for quality management and with the quality controls applied to on site construction (Power Plant).
Responsibilities:
▫
Effective implementation of the project specific Quality Management System
▫
Monitoring performance of weld inspections and non destructive examinations following the project specific procedures
▫
Planning and performance of internal audits
▫
Administration of Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Nonconformance Records (NCR)
▫
Monitoring subsuppliers for compliance with QM System requirements (controls in accordance with the project specific specifications on a random, spot inspection basis)
▫
Observation of discovered divergencies and corrective actions
Qualifications:
▫
Master of Mechanical Engineering, Welding specialist (carbon steel to high alloy steel P91); IWE - advantage
▫
Exeperience for the application of NDE (RT,UT,MT,PT,VT) , qualified to evaluate X-ray films
▫
Experience min. 2 years in construction / erection of big industrial sites, especially in the quality management (in foreign countries desired)
▫
Fluent command of the English language in writing and speaking
▫
Declared intention to work abroad for long periods
▫
Among other things knowledge of ASTM, ASME code, EN, national codes
